Albion Online: Enjoy filling out a role in the world

Maybe this helps new people sort things out (if not already done)

- Alt characters destroy game diversity by reducing the demand for specilized players = not creating a reason to enjoy filling out a role in the world. Where you shold be depended on other people, most players want to stay self sufficient and shuffle tasks around. That would normally end in disaster for the player (due to lost time and lacking in progression, most likely leading to reduced fun), if it weren't for ...

- ... LP; they enable a "sleeper cell" style, where your alt gathers LP by existing in the game world as a clone / a slave of your main character to craft, to albion online silver farming etc..

- With a single pool of LP aka only one character to focus on, crafters, refiners, farmers and gatherers would experience greater demand. In the summer alpha'15, my guild helped out with foodproduction, as buildings demanded high volumes of food and most pvp guild were happy to pay silver for a helping hand. After alt characters were introduced, this concept got kicked.

- Mass production in hardcore guilds, enabled by alt clones, are the way to go, if you want to stay competetive. Crafter guilds are not needed, just make 2 alts, buy premium and do, what your guild leader wants you to do.

Limiting LP to one character per account would be a great way, to counter most of that.

--> "Then i will just buy multiple accounts and rek your ass, n00b!" - will happen, but not everyone will spend more money on multiple accounts = the alt numbers will go down and demand will go up.

I do not understand SI's position in keeping alts in the game world. The highest good a sandbox game offers, is individuality coupled with meaning to get more Albion Online Gold. Meaning got removed due to alts, individuality without meaning is a hipster. We all hate hipsters, so that won't work either.

Conclusion:

Remove alt characters or remove LP or limit LP to one account/one character per account

Tackle multiple accounts per player by any means, to maximize demand for specilized play styles and to draw in even more players

Albion Online: Spend time talking about fast travel

I don't see why anyone would get angry over the fast travel through green zones.. Many PvP players cant even enter green zones as it is to help the newbies get around faster. Most if us are flagged and out in the black zones unless you are one of those carebears that sit in the green and yellow zones all the time. Why are they even spending time talking about fast travel in green zones...does it affect anything relevant at all? The mounted speed boost is awesome in darkfall in terms of Albio...

As I've noticed there have been HEAPS of posts regarding a Oceanic/SEA server and I'm PRETTY SURE I'm just saying the same thing everyone/anyone else has.... Champions ip boosts and xp boosts, are all purchased through ip which is currancy you earn not buy but good try. Also beyond the 30 hour grind it takes to hit lvl 30 ip and xp boosts are no longer useful.
